Why it works

Asked to “improve” writing, a model rewrites it into the house style of the internet. Asked to edit, with an explicit ban on new vocabulary, it cuts — which is what you wanted.

Point 3 is the one worth reading first. A sentence the model could not follow is usually one no reader will follow either.
